Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Advisor. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our clients and Investment Advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base
  • Support the advisory team with new client acquisition and nurture valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners
  • Provide trading and/or portfolio rebalancing support, as well as financial planning and wealth management services
  • Host client seminars and support the advisory team and clients throughout the wealth management process
Requirements
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) desired or in progress
  • LLQP desired or completed within first 2 years of employment
  • University degree
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • High quality time management and organization skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
