Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Newport Hotel Services Inc.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including cleaning changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.

Language

English is the primary language required for this role.
