Senior Director Labor Relations and Negotiations

At Transat AT, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director Labor Relations and Negotiations to join our team. This is a key role that requires a deep understanding of labor relations and negotiation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement labor relations strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead negotiation teams to secure favorable collective agreements.
- Provide expert advice on labor relations and negotiation matters to senior management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
- Manage labor relations teams to ensure effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement grievance management processes to minimize risks.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in labor relations, negotiations, and legal affairs.
- Strong skills in writing, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to exert influence and lead negotiation teams.
- Knowledge of the Canada Labor Code and other related federal regulations.
- Experience with Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (an asset).
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Excellent command of both French and English (oral and written).
