About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at A1 Doors & Mouldings Ltd. as a Woodworking Machine Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of woodworking machine operators to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and manage work schedules to meet production demands and deadlines.
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Set up and maintain woodworking machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Health and Safety
    • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
  • Training and Development
    • Train or arrange for training of woodworking machine operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a woodworking or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
