About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at AFG Management Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Operations Management
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Language and Work Hours
    • English is the primary language of communication.
    • 40 hours per week.
