Job Title: First Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to join our team at Keewatin Air. As a First Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Flying fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight.
  • Performing post-flight inspections and testing new aircraft to evaluate performance.
  • Coordinating flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, informing crew members of flight and test procedures, and directing activities of aircraft crew during flights.
  • Conducting in-flight tests and monitoring the functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights.
  • Maintaining communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and responding to and reporting in-flight emergencies and malfunctions.
  • Preparing flight evaluation reports.
Requirements:
  • Airline Pilot Transport Licence - fixed wing.
  • Flight instrument rating.
  • Multi-instrument Flight Rating.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Airport security clearance.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
