About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Yelp. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive business value and improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data wrangling to model deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions using machine learning.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale machine learning models using state-of-the-art techniques and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of Yelp's machine learning platforms and infrastructure.
  • Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines that support machine learning workloads.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on developing and deploying production-ready models.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and storage systems, such as Hadoop and Spark.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 - $230,000 CAD annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and a generous PTO policy.
