About the Role

Cogstate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trials Specialist to join our team of experts in the field of cognitive science. As a Clinical Trials Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering remote clinical interviews and cognitive assessment batteries to subjects with preclinical dementia, enrolled in a pharmaceutical clinical trial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remotely administer semi-structured clinical interview assessments and cognitive battery of tests to French speaking study subjects and caregivers.
  • Deliver computerized and traditional cognitive assessments via a tele-health platform.
  • Score completed scale administrations.
  • Participate in regular clinical skill recalibration activities.
  • Provide reviews of completed neuropsychological test batteries for central monitoring of data to ensure accuracy in administration and scoring.
  • Review response forms and recordings of remote scale administrations and offer feedback to raters.
Qualifications & Expertise
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology/neuropsychology/geriatric psychology, behavioral neurology, or related field.
  • Formal training in neurodegenerative disease, clinical interviewing and cognitive assessment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with direct clinical interviewing and psychological assessment in clinical research industry, academic or clinical settings.
  • Minimum of 2 years direct clinical experience with patients affected by symptoms of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Early Alzheimer's Dementia.
  • Professional level of proficiency in the French language.
  • Direct experience with cognitive/behavioral/functional assessment of neurological/psychiatric populations.
  • Psychologists/psychometrists with high written and spoken proficiency in English and French and clear speech quality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, being highly organized and methodical, with attention to detail to ensure delivery.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Excel, email, teleconference platforms such as Skype, Zoom or other similar applications, and cloud-based storage service.
