Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Ash Grove Inn. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to a high standard.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all housekeeping staff are aware of and adhere to these policies.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that housekeeping staff are meeting their performance targets.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that housekeeping staff have the resources they need to perform their duties.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that all housekeeping staff are aware of and adhere to these regulations.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
