About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within Scotiabank's Network Management function, responsible for providing strategic oversight and leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Network Management function, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure effective execution of business objectives.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective risk management and governance.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to ensure Scotiabank remains a leader in the financial services industry.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on capital markets or related functions.
  • Prior experience in network management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and operations, as well as industry initiatives and developments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience.
