We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at AYAT MATTRESS MANUFACTURING LIMITED. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and create made-to-measure garments using commercial patterns and customer measurements
- Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit
- Lay out, cut, sew, and press materials to create hats and other accessories
- Operate sewing machines and sew by hand to achieve precise results
- Select and modify commercial patterns to meet customer and clothing manufacturer specifications
- Design patterns to fit measurements and create custom garments
- Mark, cut, and sew fabric to create high-quality garments
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tailoring or a related field
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work with precision
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Client focus, reliability, and team player skills
This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The work language is English.
