Medical Laboratory Specialist

LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
About the RoleAs a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
- Perform, interpret, and release results while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Identify incidents and non-conformities, and participate in corrective action plans
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
- Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Good computer skills and knowledge
- Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality standards
