Job Summary:

This is a leadership role that oversees the effective operation of the warehouse and loading docks, equipment, and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and providing guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition, and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Program Implementation: Implement and maintain programs such as Safety and HACCP, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: Must have lift truck driving experience and good computer skills, proficient in MS office suite. Experience in SAP, WMS, and TMS will be considered an asset.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
