Maintenance Worker, Full-time, Nithview Community

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at Tri-County Mennonite Homes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing general building maintenance services to our facilities and ensuring they remain safe, clean, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve common goals
- Assess situations and make judgments regarding work to be completed
- Interact with sub-trades and suppliers as required
- Work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis (4-week rotation)
Requirements:
- Previous general maintenance experience in an institutional setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Basic knowledge of general repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and equipment servicing
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
- Computer literacy
