Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager

About the Role:
The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst and Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT Project Management Office, you will be responsible for fostering business improvement initiatives, innovation, and customer service throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate operational requirements, process efficiencies, and existing system capabilities to determine and recommend changes or upgrades.
- Manage projects, lead Faculty development initiatives, and act as a team leader by supervising the implementation of solutions.
- Provide expert advice to senior management, faculty, and clinical members on business analysis, technology recommendations, and implementation strategies.
- Organize, specify, and model client business requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous.
- Assist with the implementation of workflow changes in faculty operations and support users in integrating new systems.
Requirements:
- University degree in computer science, business administration, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in supporting business units and their information technology needs.
- Experience in project management, including managing interdisciplinary teams and creating process workflow/information flow maps.
- Ability to interact with senior management and work with minimal supervision.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and excellent analytical, organizational, and priority-management skills.
- Bilingualism - French and English (oral and written).
