About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Specialist to join our team at the Lansdowne Centre in Kamloops, B.C. as a Casual MHSU Treatment & Recovery Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, case management, and community support to clients with severe and persistent mental health problems and/or problematic substance use issues.
  • Function as a primary clinician utilizing specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups of clients, and/or their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) healthcare team and the MHSU multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely, responsive, and evidence-based treatment and clinical supports.
