The Role
The Commercial Account Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor by preparing essential information for submission to the Marketing Department and/or the Prospect/Client.
This is a Full-Time Permanent position.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor to compile renewal information and implement policy changes as directed. Monitoring expiry lists for the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor. Compiling information for submission to Marketers to secure new quotes, organizing it into a presentation format for prospects/clients. Following up on accounts receivable to ensure prompt invoicing and premium payment. Participating in meetings with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor regarding new or renewal business as necessary.Qualifications for Success –
A minimum level 1 license is required; completion of CAIB 1 and 2 is highly preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of commercial property is essential. A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial insurance is a significant advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft programs and Broker Management Software Systems is required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and engage professionally with clients and colleagues. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions to advance work processes.
