About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Aggarwal and Associates Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and Analyze Patient Information

You will collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals to identify their health needs and develop effective treatment plans.

Examine and Diagnose Patients

You will examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries, and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.

Prescribe and Administer Medications

You will prescribe and administer medications and treatments to patients, and provide guidance on their use and potential side effects.

Provide Counselling and Support

You will provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues, including chronic disease management, mental health, and wellness.

Collaborate with Other Healthcare Professionals

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including specialists and community health workers, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
  • Education and Certification

You must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and be certified by the College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensed by provincial or territorial authorities.

Work Experience

You must have at least 1 year of experience in family medicine, with a strong understanding of primary care principles and practices.

Personal Qualities

You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care.
