Job Description

**About the Role**

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for verifying and stabilizing our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Test Strategies and Procedures: Create and implement test plans and procedures to verify the design and functionality of our networked fire alarm control panels and system configuration tools.
  • Documentation and Planning: Develop and maintain documentation of test procedures and regression test plans to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Product Testing and Validation: Perform features, functions, stability, and regression testing of our products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Lab Network Management: Design, implement, and manage our lab test networks to support testing and validation activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate testing activities with the QA test group and Product Developers to ensure seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Issue Reproduction and Feedback: Assist in reproducing customer issues in the QA lab and provide feedback to developers to improve product usability.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ Years of QA Test Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Networking and IT Infrastructure: Strong working knowledge of wired and wireless networking protocols, IT infrastructure, and networking equipment setup and operation.
  • Cloud-Based Software and Tools: Working knowledge of cloud-based software and tools, including network protocol analyzers for troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with JTAG, BDM, FPGA Programming, and other debugging tools, as well as Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Real-Time Operating Systems.
  • Education and Certifications: Diploma in electronics or electro-mechanical related technology, or degree in electrical, software, or mechanical engineering.
