Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at GameStop. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct and control daily store operations, evaluate performance, and plan for future growth.
- Staff Management: Manage staff, assign duties, determine staffing requirements, and oversee payroll administration.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of retail management experience.
- Work Setting: Toy store, hobby/crafts/novelty store, or retail business.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Positive attitude, time management, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player, and ability to multitask.
- Permanent work term.
- Bilingual work language.
- 40 hours per week.
