About the Role

Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Developer to join our technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our applications, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption to our services.
  • Application Maintenance: Develop, modify, and maintain application solutions to meet the needs of our internal and external clients.
  • Infrastructure and Network Support: Ensure that our infrastructure, network, and application enhancements are well-supported from a technical perspective.
  • Defect Remediation: Remediate defects based on business and client priorities to address service disruptions, incidents, and problems.
  • Client Experience: Deliver quality customer service interactions to create a positive experience for our internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in a Development Application Support role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Appian Objects, Unix/Linux operating system, and Unix scripts. Experience with Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies, Ctrl-M, Java Spring Boot, and REST API.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
