Wealth Management Associate Program: Unlock Your Potential

Scotiabank is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Wealth Management Associate Program as a Private Banking Associate. This 5-month salaried program is designed to develop sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are looking for a career in credit-focused banking.
Key Responsibilities- Develop core credit underwriting and relationship management skills
- Build strong client relationships and provide financial advice
- Work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others
- Influence, persuade, and build consensus with clients
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Completing a undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025, or relevant work experience
- Completed a course of study that enables registration with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds
- Aspire to build a career as a personal banker
- Curious, critical thinker with strong organization and time management skills
- Sales and relationship-focused mindset
- Comprehensive training program to gain a thorough understanding of Scotiabank's Private Banking and Wealth Advisory businesses
- Path to completing the Certified Financial Planning Certification
- Placement in a Scotiabank Wealth Management Private Banking office and the opportunity to work with a Private Banking team
- Training curriculum to support client-facing role in Private Banking
- Ongoing support during the program through various touch points with the Program Lead, Wealth leaders, and local Manager
