Job Summary

Zera Foods Ltd. DBA Taco Time is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
