Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to become part of our culinary team as a Line Cook. This role is vital for the efficient functioning of our kitchen and ensuring that cleanliness and food safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation and meal assembly tasks
  • Follow proper food safety protocols for handling and storing food
  • Utilize kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, grills, and dishwashers
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, tools, and equipment
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items as required
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team on various tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
  • Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to various kitchen tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $15.20-$17.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 20 – 30 hours per week

Certifications:

  • Food Handler Certification preferred
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, or equivalent certifications preferred
