Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quotation Specialist to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our quotations and project management teams, you will be responsible for efficiently quoting new jobs that are out for tender. This will require the ability to determine if requested specifications are achievable and in line with both the requirements of our customers and for Westburne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison with vendors, contractors, and internal staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Obtain RFQs from partners and coordinate the layout of specifications, including electrical takeoffs from single-line diagrams and assembling lighting and distribution information packages.
  • Negotiate with key suppliers to obtain project pricing and ensure the best possible value for our customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and success.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior quotations experience in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of energy solutions and electrical products.
