Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Application Specialist to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our diagnostic ophthalmology team, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring networking equipment, providing training and support to clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and configure networking equipment, such as routers, switches, and access points
  • Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of connectivity solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of connectivity solutions
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify network infrastructure needs and potential challenges
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in engineering, marketing, or life sciences
  • Industry standard credentialing preferred but not required
  • At least three to five (3-5) years of experience in an ophthalmology clinic setting or in the diagnostic ophthalmology industry or comparable experience
  • Knowledge of visual fields, lensometry, refractometry, and biometry and/or fundus photography
  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring networking equipment
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, and DNS
