Clark Builders is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Vernon. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our Zoom Boom and Skid Steer on a commercial construction site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment such as skid steers, zoom booms, and other equipment as required
  • Load and unload construction materials and move material to work areas
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and communicate any concerns with the Superintendent
  • Backfill, grading, and other duties as required
  • Circle and inspect equipment, complete inspection log, and check area for hazards
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
  • Perform additional job assignments as directed by the Superintendent
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks in an effective, organized manner
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or skill for minor preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections
  • Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience utilizing buckets, forks, and other attachments
  • Fully trained and competent in the operation of Zoom Boom and Skid Steer
