About the Role

BMO is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mortgage Specialist to join our team. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their dream of home ownership by providing expert guidance and support throughout the mortgage application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to drive business results and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a network of referral sources, including realtors, lawyers, and other industry professionals.
  • Actively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve individual sales and profitability goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to customers.
Requirements
  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
