Labour Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Labour Relations Specialist to join our team at Queen's University. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
- Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
- Manage contracts
- Advise senior management
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
- Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
- Determine contract terms and conditions
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years or more of experience
- Law
