About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood, tissue, and other samples from patients
  • Set up and maintain medical laboratory equipment
  • Clean and maintain laboratory and equipment areas
  • Process incoming requisitions and manage laboratory supplies
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience in a medical laboratory setting an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
