Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our store.
  • Process all purchase transactions efficiently and accurately, including deactivating merchandise as required.
  • Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives, to enhance customer engagement.
  • Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise, ensuring their shopping experience is convenient and hassle-free.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Refers complex service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
