Laboratory Technician

AGAT Laboratories is a comprehensive analytical facility with multiple locations throughout Canada. Our dedicated team of expert scientists excels in diverse disciplines such as biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, geology, and engineering. We deliver analytical solutions for various sectors including environmental science, energy, mining, transportation, industrial applications, food safety, and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct organic and inorganic chemistry analyses on environmental specimens (including water and soil).
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in laboratory operations, including cleaning glassware, preparing samples, and maintaining workstations.
  • Ensure efficient tracking of samples.
  • Comply with established quality and safety protocols.
Required Skills:

  • Degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology.
  • Previous laboratory experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong command of written and spoken French.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Work Environment:
