Site Manager Job Description

St-Amour & Associates, Senc. is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead our client's manufacturing site in Victoriaville. As a key member of the corporate team, you will be responsible for achieving production objectives while prioritizing quality management, food safety, OHS, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly support and guide the local management team to achieve production objectives.
  • Participate in corporate meetings to develop strategic orientations and communicate them to the local management committee.
  • Support and advise the local management team in achieving their respective objectives.
  • Plan and implement programs for continuous improvement, growth, and integration of new technologies.
  • Ensure cost control and profitability by managing expense budgets.
  • Act as site manager and ensure accountability for food safety, quality, and health & safety initiatives.
  • Review and support plant evaluation plans and participate in Capex investment planning.
  • Support and advise on commercial and service agreements.
  • Maintain plant 3-year plans with other managers.

When necessary, travel to meet with other leaders from across the organization. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management is required, along with experience in implementing operational policies, procedures, tools, and indicators. Strong analytical, synthesis, and judgment skills are essential for success in this role.
