Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Burlington. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for managing the cash, ecommerce, and warehouse teams to achieve location profitability targets and key KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service to Sporting Life's internal and external customers.
  • Direct and oversee merchandise presentation initiatives and directives, ensuring merchandise presentation standards are fully met.
  • Ensure product is flowing in and out of the warehouse efficiently and to standards.
  • Oversee order fulfillment execution and ensure delivery time frames are met.
  • Motivate and lead warehouse, Ecom, and visual staff regarding customer service standards, store cleanliness, departmental job lists, health and safety practices, employee relations, and compliance with Sporting Life policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive retail experience
  • Visual, or warehouse experience and asset
  • Leads by personal example, coaching and promoting teamwork to achieve results
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency in dealing with business and staff needs
  • Is nimble and flexible to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload to achieve results in a constantly changing environment
