Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Associate to join our team at Halftime Huddle Restaurant & Sports Bar. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to customers.
    • Serve food and beverages to customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
    • Describe menu items and daily specials to customers.
    • Advise customers on menu selections.
  • Table Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
    • Work 30-40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
