Cybersecurity Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Global Security, Monitoring and Incident Response (MIR) team at Roche. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting our proprietary information, patient data, and computer systems from evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor security information to identify potential threats and take proactive measures to defend our information systems.
- Partner with other security experts to design and validate preventative and detective controls, as well as response strategies within a global enterprise.
- Use your knowledge and technical abilities to navigate diverse security-related logs and telemetry, identifying areas of improvement and addressing visibility and logging deficiencies within the network.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to proactively identify and address potential risks impacting all members of the Roche group.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience in the information security field.
- Experience driving threat hunting, incident response, or data protection missions, with a solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors, as well as their respective mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Powershell/C#, Bash, and experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Entra ID, Sharepoint Online, PAN XDR, Splunk, BigQuery, and threat intel platforms such as MISP, OpenCTI.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
