Job Title: Business Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Duvera Immigration Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment, and providing consulting services to government and other organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans to promote economic growth and development in rural and urban areas.
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment, including providing consulting services to government and other organizations.
  • Supervise professional and support staff and students, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparing reports, research papers, and educational texts.
  • Plan development projects, including recruiting and hiring staff, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles on business development and economic growth.
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on business development and economic growth.
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, and ensure that they align with the company's business objectives.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote business development and economic growth.
  • Ensure that appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place, and that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia on business development and economic growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in business development, economic growth, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all work products.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Initiative, with the ability to take ownership of projects and tasks, and to seek out opportunities for growth and development.
