Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales growth by building relationships with new prospects and increasing sales to existing customers.
- Work independently to manage time and sales processes, including prospecting, networking, goal setting, and time management.
- Schedule personal calls with customers to discuss sales opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
- Promote the company's e-commerce site to customers and maximize gross profit levels on all products sold.
- Work with customers to maintain and increase sales volumes year over year.
- Troubleshoot and assist customers with concerns, and complete customer quotes in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete call information on weekly call sheets and turn in call sheets and expense information to accounts payable monthly.
- Participate in continuous product training to maintain thorough knowledge of industry and competitive trends.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing industry with demonstrated product knowledge.
- Previous outside sales experience is ideal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high pressure for results.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.
