Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize sales growth by building relationships with new prospects and increasing sales to existing customers.
  • Work independently to manage time and sales processes, including prospecting, networking, goal setting, and time management.
  • Schedule personal calls with customers to discuss sales opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Promote the company's e-commerce site to customers and maximize gross profit levels on all products sold.
  • Work with customers to maintain and increase sales volumes year over year.
  • Troubleshoot and assist customers with concerns, and complete customer quotes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and complete call information on weekly call sheets and turn in call sheets and expense information to accounts payable monthly.
  • Participate in continuous product training to maintain thorough knowledge of industry and competitive trends.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing industry with demonstrated product knowledge.
  • Previous outside sales experience is ideal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high pressure for results.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.
