About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at banquet functions, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the banquet room according to the Banquet Event Order, ensuring all necessary items are in place.
- Set tables and maintain buffets to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Serve guests with a smile, following rules of etiquette and property standards.
- Brew and serve coffee and tea, as well as pour wine and other beverages.
- Clear tables of dirty dishes and deliver them to the kitchen.
- Knowledge of hotel and city facilities is essential for providing excellent service to our guests.
- Attend all training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures.
- Liaise with supervisors regarding special requests and complaints.
- Maintain work ethics and be accountable for your actions.
- Deliver dirty linen to the laundry and clean the banquet room after each function.
- Store props and equipment in assigned areas.
Requirements:
- High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Long hours may be required.
- Knowledge of banquet protocol and various services is helpful.
- Vaid ServSafe Certificate is required.
