Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infusion Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care services, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infusion services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional care environment for patients and staff.
  • Promote service excellence by example in following protocols and procedures and encouraging continuing education amongst staff.
  • Complete all applicable training for each medication prior to administration to patients.
  • Contact new patients and schedule appointments in a timely fashion as needed.
  • Support staff/clinic schedule requirements and ensure adequate clinic supplies.
  • Ensure adherence to clinic policies and report any issues or anticipated issues to the Assistant Director.
  • Supervise and coordinate the training and mentoring of all clinic staff.
  • Participate in regular Internal Audits and prepare for external audits as needed.
  • Monitor and perform case management of all clinic patients as required.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and lead by example.
Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Nurse (valid provincial license)
  • Healthcare provider CPR certificate required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a nurse
  • 1 year of regular IV initiation and infusion experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team
  • Will to travel to alternate clinics within a set geographical boundary
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills for calculating patient dosages
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
