Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality nursing care to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
  • Perform tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, serve meal trays, and feed patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, supervise exercise routines, and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR as required
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • Experience an asset
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and CPR Certificate
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring travel to clients' homes. You will work 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our clients.
