Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Home & Family Care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a variety of settings, including their own homes and community-based programs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores
  • Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in achieving their goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Work site environment: Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Target audience: Adults
  • Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
