Café Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Café Manager to join our team at Cha House Coquitlam Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute daily café operations, ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
- Manage cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain financial accuracy.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations and provide constructive feedback for growth.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to optimize costs and quality.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the café and attract new customers.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Client-focused and organized, with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with excellent written communication skills.
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
