About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Registry Analyst to join our team at Ontario Health. As a key member of our Cancer Registry team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of cancer data for all Ontario residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, review, and amend cancer cases using electronic editing interfaces
  • Conduct data analysis and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Work with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, health information management leads, and IT contacts
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance activities to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in cancer registration and data analysis
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of cancer registry experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in data collection software and data abstraction principles
