Trane Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Equipment Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of HVAC equipment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

As an Equipment Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Project Planning & Analysis: Develop comprehensive project plans, establish clear schedules and parameters, and implement procedures to achieve project objectives. This involves working with complex equipment applications and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Customer Communication & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and field support staff. Proactively address customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This includes coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate project cost forecasts, monitor expenses against the allocated budget, and implement measures to control costs effectively. You will also be responsible for managing project cash flow, including progress billing and collections support.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in project management, equipment installation, HVAC systems, or a similar industry. Alternatively, four years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • A strong understanding of HVAC systems and temperature control equipment is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach, a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
