Job Title: Director of Product Innovation

Skjodt-Barrett Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Innovation to lead our research and development team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth through the development of new products and processes.

About the Role:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product strategies and processes
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and procurement teams to understand market trends and customer needs
  • Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to manage multiple projects in the sales and innovation pipeline
  • Guide the team in meeting operational standards for quality, cost, food safety, and sustainability
  • Manage, teach, and mentor the product development team, identifying gaps in skills and working closely with individuals to build their strengths
