About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Protection Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering protection and design solutions, executing technical and strategic mandates, and providing expertise to clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement protection and design solutions for various applications, including HV/MV designs, relay design, and system studies.
  • Lead various design phases of projects, including proposal development, design development, and detail design.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders in the renewables, industrial, and utility sectors.
  • Support the execution of BBA's strategy and action plan.
Requirements
  • Electrical Engineering degree and registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
  • 12 years of experience in Protection Engineering, with a focus on large industrial, power generation, and utility sectors.
  • Strong communications, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform widely varied tasks and meet widely varied challenges.
  • Proven knowledge of project-management practices and electrical design standards (CSA, IEEE, ANSI/IEC).
