Job Title: Flooring Installer

Roysons' Flooring & Woodworking Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Flooring Installer. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in floor installation and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and effectively. Job Overview:

  • Work Hours: 40 to 42 hours per week
Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in flooring installation
Work Environment:
  • Construction
  • Renovation
  • Commercial, Industrial, and Residential settings
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to assess work requirements
  • Prepare and install a variety of floor coverings
  • Inspect, measure, and repair any damaged floor coverings
  • Efficiently organize tasks
Installation Expertise:
  • Vinyl or resilient sheets and tiles
  • Rubber sheet goods
  • Hardwood and parquet flooring
Safety and Security:
  • A valid driver's license is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Capable of handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding work
