About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy professionals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy staff, including hiring and managing their performance
  • Oversee the financial and operational success of the pharmacy department
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications and control inventory levels
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and professional manner
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and clinics
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests
  • Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, registered with the Association of Canadian Pharmacists
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management skills and ability to motivate and coach others
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans
