About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at BITTS Testing Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining a thorough understanding of our company's financial landscape.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in our financial statements.
  • Prepare trial balance of books, providing a comprehensive overview of our company's financial position.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.

  • Bondable, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Public transportation is available, making it easy to commute to our office.
  • Fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all financial tasks.
  • Accurate and organized, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Work Term: Permanent, with a regular schedule of 35 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
